October 8-9,15-16,22-23 – Graves Mountain Apple Harvest Festival

graves-mountain-apple-harve

HAY, it’s that time yet again, I can just about smell the apple butter boiling and hear the sounds of cloggers…. I’m talking about the Graves Mountain Apple Harvest Festival. Locals know that once we round the bend toward fall it means apples, crafts, funnel cakes, Hay-rides through the orchard, HAY-Mountain and the challenging Hay-Maze.

This year marks the 42nd annual event and the start of something new with the festival running for three consecutive weekends instead of just two. This gives everyone more opportunities to make it out, at least once.

This festival is completely free to everyone. Of course you will want to bring plenty of cash for food, over 70 arts and crafts vendors (think Christmas presents) and tickets for the Hay Ride, Hay Mountain and Hay Maze.

For more information check out the Graves Mountain website.

Looking for high quality yet affordable family pictures this fall or holiday season? Look no further, A Picture’s Worth Photography is Culpeper’s premier photography duo. Images by Tasha Fitzgerald and Kimmie Ashenfelter will capture your heart and wow you for years to come.

Tasha and Kimmie shoot each sitting or event from different angles but the same philosophy. “We noticed that all the photography services in the surrounding areas provided great quality, but cost an outrageous amount per session…AND they didn’t normally include a CD or prints in the price of the session.  We saw a need for quality photography at a reasonable price, and decided to be the answer.”

With a long list of families, babies, events, schools, parties and wedding under their belts, A Picture’s Worth Photography should be your family’s photographer this fall and forever. Please visit APicturesWorthPhotography.CO to learn more about this amazing duo and to browse some of their fantastic work. (NOTE: Always being ahead of the curve, the girls opted to utilize the newest top level domain extension .CO not .COM)
