We have a strong desire to make a difference in our community. We know that the only way to make things happen is to partner with other community members and businesses. We all have our strengths and only by bringing them together can we accomplish any goals we may set.
We are currently looking for businesses or groups that would like to contribute to our youth community by sponsoring the following content on this site:
Outstanding Youth Citizen – this will be a monthly submissions based spotlight on an outstanding kid in our community. Recipients will be decided based on the depth of their achievements as well as determination and character. We are looking for an organization to support this endeavor by sponsoring the content and providing some type of award to each recipient. The sponsoring organization will receive a branded page on the CulpeperKids.com website. All previous recipients will be archived on the site indefinitely providing an ever growing amount of online exposure.
Parenting Tips – a monthly column with ideas for positive parenting. We would like to have a group of trained individuals review and respond to parenting questions submitted through our website. In addition to providing responses to the parenting questions we would like to have this group provide additional tips.
Sportsmanship Column – a monthly column espousing a different aspect of good sportsmanship each month. We would like to have members of each of the youth sports organizations contribute to this column on a rotating basis. Submitters would be representing their sport and organization while also promoting the overall theme of good sportsmanship to the parents and youth in our community.
Monthly “Give-Aways” – we want to offer family and kid friendly “give-aways” and provide prizes for various kid focused contests such as art or essay competitions. What we are looking for is small donations of items such as DVD’s, games, gift certificates, free food coupons, etc. Organizations would be recognized through the web and print promotions surrounding each contest or “give-away”.
